Played two live sng's!

Makati game!

I was able to take one down and lost another sng 2nd out cause of a bad bluff! Ha ha!

You all decide... was this a bad bluff or what? Please comment... I think I did good... I read mid pair but what about my bet?

I had 10j and I call a raise from a really aggressive player... I call the raise of 150, blinds are 20-40.

flop - 9, Q, 6 - the raiser bets 200 and I flat call

Turn - 3 - he bets 150, I call

River - 5 - no flush... he checks and i bet 500... he thinks about it for a long time and calls... what did I do wrong? he shows A, 9... i muck!

Good game... the other game took some time but I won... won a little on top of what I lost above... ha ha!

Big ups to Bryan!

What can I say about Bryan... WPT Phils. Champ!

Congratulations and I can't wait to see the show!

Laying down big hands... 11Finger had a post on some hands that he played and it got me thinking. What are the hands that should be laid down and what hands should be kept? I know a lot of the decision there will be dependent on your read of the other players hand and how your stack is looking. What if you don't have the information and somebody just put your tournament life on the line... What would you fold and what would you go down with?

AK, overpair, Top pair good kicker, Trips, Straight, fullhouse, flush... draw... bluff... I have gotten these hands before and I couldn't lay them down. LOL!

Good Game!

9 player SNG with one rebuy...

I played a rebuy tourney sunday and it was fun. Friends were there and we had about 2 rebuys on the second hand! WOW... it was a deepstack tournament too. What can I say... it happens.

I was able to take that one down so that was cool. Big ups to Miguel for making it in the money again! He knows he has a leak in his game and he is fixing to get it plugged! I told him it's cause he is playing too tight shorthanded. Hope it helps his game out. I also told him to talk to Mark. Ha ha!

Here are some interesting hands:

1st hand... blinds- 10-20 stacks... 3000...

All in- all in!

Trip Jacks on the turn vs a straight on the turn!

2nd hand - All in-All in! Blinds 10-20, stacks -3000

Fullhouse A's over 9's vs a bluff!

The all ins were made on the turn for the 1st hand and on the river for the second hand, the dominated hand pushed.

I didn't have to rebuy.

Good game!
