Played the Hyatt satellite...
Nice game. A player can add on or re-buy plus add-on. Not so bad. 5000 starting stack with blinds starting 20-40. 20 min blinds.
About 27 players... not too bad of a field. Some of the casino regulars and then the rest are new faces to me. I have been gone for some time.
Ran pretty cold the first couple of rounds but then...
I had A6 on the small blind.
Flop - A 6 7
Big blind bets and another caller raises. I called
Turn - 7... big blind checks, raiser bets 1000. I fold. BB folds
Raiser shows Ak.
I get K's and raised it 3 times the big. One caller
Flop - A 4 5 all hearts.
Caller bets it hard... I think about it and I fold.
I get K's again. I raised it about 4 times the big. One player pushes. I called.
He shows AK... it doesn't improve.
What a run but I bubbled + 1. Oh well. no rebuy or no add-on for me. Finished 6th, they were giving seats all the way to 4th.
Sick beats or draws...

Flop A J K - one player goes all in... the other player thinks about it but then calls and shows AJ. the other player, A5

River K - SPLIT pot!
Standard pre-flop raise... One caller
Flop - J, 10, 2
Check, bet and call...
Turn - 2 - both players go all in.
Showdown - 10's vs J's
River - 10
My last hand... UTG, 2.5 of the blinds left. I push with J8
2 callers. Aj and J's
Needless to say I was out... Flop A, 8, k ...Turn K, river... x
