Played a 10 player home game...

How would you play it...

Came in for a raise of 4x the big blind (160) in middle position with 6's and a short stack player to my left goes all in for another 240... we get one more caller (early position) and I call.

Flop - 6h, 10h, 5s - early player creates a side pot for 100... what would you do?

Blogger tourney...

We kicked off the Blogger tournament yesterday and we had 20 people play. It was a really, really good turnout. Thank you to Gamefrog for buying beer for the gang, thank you also to State of Mind for setting everything up.

Now what happened...

Table 1 - Aris, Jardine, Jon (JPT), Oging, WeBuildPoker, Ed, stateofmind, Kath the German Snake, PokerFilipinas, hope i'm not missing anyone.

I was on table two with 11finger, the fool, Jazminator, gamefrog and cousin, BarbieManila, the stoner poker crew (well at least 2), and Paula. The game got started off sprinting with 11finger and gamefrog's cousin...

flop - 10, Q, 7 ... they both check (pot is about 600)

turn - K - 11finger bet 1000 and is called

River - A - 11 checks and cousin bets 1000... 11 folds his Q10 and the cousin shows AK...

Lots of beats and lots of awesome plays during the course of the tournament.

We build instacalled and shows K10 suited, MnlGrind shows pocket 8's. Classic Race...

I got so crippled I went all in on the next hand and the and after cause I am forced to bet it for the blinds.

I think I played my best game but I bubbled. I sucked out a couple of times and I got sucked out on lots of times too.

After my bubble, I joined a nice shorthanded HORSE ring game. It was a blast, learned to play RAZZ the right way along with Omaha hi/lo. Nobody got hurt and it was a nice game.

FTP tourney...

I was going to stop by the northside pokerside for the bounty tourney but I was not able to cause I was stuck playing online... 5 hours worth! I was able to reach final table so that was kind of nice. 6th place to be exact... 1436 players to start. It was a freeroll!

Looooonnnngggg A$$ Final table!

Barely ecked out a final table appearance to have it last a loooonnngggg time! Good news though, I was able to take it down. Big ups to Migs N. for taking second, both of us were in the short stack starting the final table.

Had pocket 8's about 6 times and the time I folded it, the board showed two more 8's! Wow! I was pushed out of a pot a couple of times when I got bluffed but I was able to finally catch the bluffer with pockets!

All in all, 40 players... time spent, approximately 6 hrs. Profit- good enough.
