Played some games...
Long time... since the last post. I have played around 4 games... maybe 5 but there are three that comes to mind.
One game at Jardine's, 2 games at Ro and Emil's and one for the Satellite...
There were some hands and some bad decisions but what can you say, that's poker.
Jardine's game - Won
I was down to about 500 and was able to come back... lucky!
Ro's games - bubbled twice
For one of the games, I had about 6k and the blinds where 300-600. I am on the big blind with AK, we have a short stack call, Raise from a tight player of 2000 and I push. The limper calls and the tight caller thinks about it and then calls... she shows pocket 10's. The limper, 97o... The tens held up and I bubble.
Satellite - Won
I sit in straight from work and on the get go I got some huge hands... my flushes hits at the right time and my A's held up. Here are a couple key hands that I lost...
I had A9 suited and I come in for a raise. One person played.
Flop - 9, j, 9 - he checks - I bet... he thinks about it and he calls
Turn - Q - he checks - I bet... he thinks about it again and he then calls
River - 10 - he pushes - about 8 k more and I put in about 16 already. I folded...
I had A10 and a person pushed with about 2/3 my stack... Loose player and I call. He shows 95 off.
flop 5 8 J
Turn 5
River 9
Hey, I was still able to come back. Lucky!
Good game.
